1. Who we are

This online store is run by MirAbdolhay Industrial Group Kft. (registered office: 1138 Budapest, Sólyatér utca 4. B. lépcsőház, U3. ajtó, Hungary; company registration number: Cg. 01-09-449423; tax number: 32827189-1-41; EU VAT number: HU32827189; email: studio@simetra.art; phone: +36 20 378 8848). Simetra is our brand. In these terms, "we" means MirAbdolhay Industrial Group Kft. and "you" means the customer.

2. Scope

These terms apply to every purchase made in this online store. Our Refund policy, Shipping policy and Privacy policy form part of these terms. These terms do not limit any right you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

3. Products, pictures and prices

  • Each pair is made by hand in Budapest from natural wood. The grain and colour of your pair, and its brass lines, differ from the pictures. Pictures marked "3D visualisation" are computer renders, not photographs.
  • Prices are in Hungarian forints and include 27% Hungarian VAT. Shipping costs, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • If we show a clearly wrong price by mistake (for example a price far below the usual market price), we tell you and you can decide whether to buy at the correct price or cancel; you pay nothing for cancelling.

4. Delivery dates

For a finished pair, you pay the full price when you order. We ship the earrings in their gift box with your numbered certificate from 15 November, in order of purchase. Orders placed by 14 December arrive before Christmas. When the finished pairs of a wood are gone, you can order a pair made to order at the full price, paid at checkout. We start these pairs on 1 December and ship them by 21 December. Each pair is numbered per design in the order in which orders arrive.

5. How to order

  1. Choose a design and a wood on its product page and select "Add to bag". The pair goes into your bag.
  2. In your bag you can change the quantity or remove items. Select "Check out".
  3. Enter your email, delivery and billing details, and choose a shipping and payment method.
  4. Before you pay, the checkout shows a summary of your order, the total price and all costs. You can correct any details at this stage by editing the fields or going back to your bag.
  5. Select the payment button ("Pay now"). This places an order with an obligation to pay.

6. When the contract is concluded

After you place your order, we send an automatic email confirming that we have received it. If you do not receive this confirmation within 48 hours, you are no longer bound by your order. The contract is concluded when we send the order confirmation. The contract is concluded electronically and is not a written contract. We keep a record of your order, and you can see it in the order confirmation email and, if you have one, in your customer account. The contract language is English or Hungarian, depending on the language in which you place your order. We do not follow any code of conduct.

7. Payment and invoice

You can pay with the methods shown at checkout.

  • Finished pairs: you pay the full price when you place your order.
  • Made-to-order pairs: you also pay the full price when you place your order. We ship these pairs by 21 December.

We send you an electronic invoice by email.

8. Delivery

We deliver with GLS to the addresses listed in our Shipping policy. The risk of loss passes to you when you, or a person you name, receive the parcel.

9. Your right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from the contract without giving a reason from the day you order until 14 days after the earrings arrive. Our Refund policy explains how, and includes the model withdrawal form.

10. Faulty products: warranty and guarantee

EU notice on the legal guarantee

This is the official EU notice on the legal guarantee of conformity (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960, Annex I).

LEGAL GUARANTEE. Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods: do not match the description; do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer: free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. What to do if you receive non-conforming goods: 1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue; 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.

Your legal rights for faulty products under Hungarian law are summarised below.

Statutory warranty for defects (kellékszavatosság). If a product is faulty, you can ask us to repair or replace it, unless the remedy you choose is impossible or would cost us disproportionately more than the other one. If we cannot or do not repair or replace it, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or, if the defect is not minor, end the contract. Please tell us about the defect without delay after you discover it, at the latest within two months. You cannot make a claim more than two years after delivery. Within one year of delivery you only need to report the defect; after that, you need to show that the defect already existed at delivery.

Product warranty (termékszavatosság). We make the earrings ourselves, so we are also their manufacturer. For a faulty product you can ask the manufacturer for repair or replacement within two years of the product being placed on the market. Here you need to show that the product was faulty. You cannot claim under the statutory warranty and the product warranty for the same defect at the same time.

Guarantee (jótállás). Under Hungarian law, jewellery sold to consumers for between 10,000 Ft and 250,000 Ft carries a mandatory two-year guarantee from delivery. During this time we are responsible for defects unless we prove that the cause arose after delivery. As the price is below 100,000 Ft, no separate guarantee card is issued; your order confirmation and invoice prove your purchase. The guarantee does not limit your other rights.

Under the guarantee, if the product cannot be repaired, we replace it within 8 days unless you ask otherwise; if a replacement is not possible, we refund the price within 8 days. The same applies if the product fails again after three repairs, and if we have not repaired it within 30 days of your claim (in that case within 8 days after the 30 days end). If you ask for a replacement within 3 working days of purchase because a defect prevents normal use, we replace the product within 8 days or, if that is not possible, refund the price without delay.

How we handle claims. We record every warranty or guarantee claim in writing and send you a copy without delay. If we cannot say at once whether we can meet your claim, we tell you our position within 8 days, in a way that can be proven. If we reject your claim, we also tell you why and that you can turn to a conciliation board. We aim to complete a repair or replacement within 15 days; if it takes longer, we tell you how long it is expected to take. We keep these records for 3 years.

11. Complaints and disputes

You can make a complaint by email, by post or by phone using the contact details above. We answer written complaints in writing within 30 days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you can turn to the conciliation board of your place of residence or to a court. We keep complaints and our answers for 3 years. The conciliation board for our seat is the Budapesti Békéltető Testület (Budapest Conciliation Board). Seat: 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99. I. em. 111. Postal address: 1253 Budapest, Pf. 10. Phone: +36 1 488 2131. Email: bekelteto.testulet@bkik.hu. Website: bekeltet.bkik.hu. You can also contact the conciliation board of your own place of residence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
